Remark:

You need to install the USB driver and the software in the CD before you test or use the cable. When you have the cable connected to your computer for the first time, with the included CD in your computer¡¯s CD driver, the USB driver can be installed automatically.
Indicator Light: When you have the cable connected to your car and the car¡¯s ignition is ON, the indicator light will on. It means the cable is ready to read data from your car. When you have the cable connected to your car and computer, and the USB driver is installed, the cable will read data from your car, and the indicator light will flash.
We have some reports indicating that some VAG K+CAN versions do not get along with the Zone Alarm firewall application. If you are using Zone Alarm, turn it off while using VAG K+CAN. Many virus scanners will adversely affect performance when logging data and performing other tasks which require VAG K+CAN to write data to the disk. If in doubt, turn off virus scanners while using VAG K+CAN -- your PC cannot get a virus from your car.
